SUGAR IN FRUIT

this graph is kinda irrelevant to me, though.. i think that when talking sugar in fruit, the GI is more important. i'll explain you why... in order lose fat or preserve health, you need to keep the insulin under control. fruit contains 2 types of sugar... glucose and fructose. fructose doesn't trigger your insulin.. it's still bad for you, but a little less than glucose in THIS case. glucose triggers the insulin and rises the GI index. for example, grapes contain more sugar than pineapple, but are lower on the GI index list. keep this in mind when choosing your fruit.... so if you have it around workout time, have the fruit rich in glucose (high GI). otherwise have the low GI fruits that contain more fructose.
