RE-ORGANIZE YOUR KITCHEN STRATEGICALLY TO HELP YOU REACH YOUR GOALS

everyone knows that trying to eat healthy being surrounded with crap and temptation makes everything so much tougher. this is why today i want you to give some tips on how to re-organize your kitchen to make reaching your goal easier.

1. clean out the pantry and the fridge. if you don't want to throw the junk away (which i recommend though), place it all in one kitchen cabinet, possibly the one that is most difficult to reach. including foods that are considered healthy but they represent a temptation for you and you know that you can overeat them (nuts for example)

2. pre-portion your snacks. in this way you can just grab them on the go and you don't have the excuse to overeat them. you can use those little ziplock bags and pre-portion your fruit, nuts, granola etc.

3. keep on the counter only healthy foods like fresh fruit, spices, brown rice, whole-grain pasta etc. in this way also your kids will more likely grab a fruit rather than other unhealthy snacks.

4. stuff your fridge with healthy food and keep it in the front. hide the junk on the back (sauces, dressings and other crap)

5. use smaller plates, bowls and mugs.

6. before you start eating, put all your food that you are going to eat on the table. if you keep going to the fridge you can't keep under control how much you eat.

7. measure your food with cups, spoons, scale... i love my oil bottle that you squeeze and it measures you up the desired amount (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/500ml-Glass-Oil-And-Vinegar-Dispenser-Measurable-Pressing-Button-Olive-Oil-Bottles-Kitchen-Tools-Household-Oilcan/787773390.html)

8. invest in single-serving containers and prepare your meals in advance.

9. decorate your kitchen with flowers, fresh herbs and calm colors such as blue and green that curb you appetite. make it feng-shui

10. set the table before meal time and take your time to enjoy your food.
