i'm so excited to share this protein bar recipe with you cos it's sooo yummy! i swear, i swear!!
mix together in bowl:
4 scoops vanilla protein powder
1 Tbs unsweetened cacao
60g/ 2 oz plain oat flour or oat germ
30g /1 oz coconut flour, unsweetened
stevia
cinnamon (optional)
add: almond milk (unsweetened). just enough to combine everything in a ball.
roll out the dough in a tupperware container covered with cling film. put in freezer for an hour or so. take out and form 5 bars.
melt 1 oz/ 30g of dark chocolate (at least 80% cacao). can do in microwave paying attention that it doesn't get burned. take a kitchen brush and cover the bars with the melted chocolate. keep them on a rack until the chocolate hardens.
to make the bars less chewy, you can bake them in the oven for 5 min at 180°C/ 350°F. let them cool in the freezer and then cover them with chocolate.
wrap each bar in cling film and store in freezer. grab one on the go!
