LATE-NIGHT SNACK... HOME-MADE CHOCOLATE-PB ICE-CREAM!

very quick and easy...for 2 servings blend together:
2 egg whites, raw, pasteurized
200g/ 7oz creamcheese or quark or greek yogurt, reduced fat
1 Tbsp peanut butter, natural, unsweetened
10 almonds, chopped
1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
1 tbsp unsweetened cacao
stevia

pour the batter in the ice-cream maker or, if you don't have one, in a zip-lock bag and freeze for a couple of hours. every 30minutes take the bag out of the freezer and mix the ice-cream with your fingers (without opening the bag).

trick to make your ice-cream softer: add in the blender 1 tsp cornstarch and 1 tsp powdered jello.

serve the ice-cream topped with whipped light cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or unsweetened cacao.

this ice-cream contains a blend of fast and slow acting protein which makes it a perfect late-night snack for hot summer nights. enjoy!
